i have a hero, do you?

Hey there, lately I’ve been struggling with what I should write on. Perhaps it’s been written about already or people are already familiar with the topic. Nonetheless, we all write to express our views, experiences which in turn might be of encouragement to someone, and also to express our stance on certain things and why we do so.

Let me tell you one thing which is indeed a story of my life probably a few if not many of you have experienced it. When I was growing up as a kid, I used to think genuine superheroes exist. At some point I begun to think Spider-man, Superman, Batman and other superheroes displayed on television in movies are really the world’s superheroes, little did I know that none of them was a superhero instead were just mere actors in movies. I used to like (not much though) comic books and watched movies about them, observing them saving people from dangers and catastrophic disasters and still thought of them being heroes/superheroes for all mankind but none of them was.
As time passed by, my Mom begun to teach me about this man who was born in one of the remotest places on earth. This man, harmed no people, he respected people in the society, this man humbled himself to the ground. He even did everything he could but no one really recognized his presence neither his godly heart through how he treated and respected people around him and also that he was way too far to be compared with any other human.
One unique thing about this man is that even though he was way too far to be compared with other people in line with authority, wisdom and where he had come from, he never boasted in any way. Truth be told that many people in that period began to scorn and accuse him of breaking their rules and laws because he claimed to have come from the place where no living being had ever been. In fact, he himself claimed to have established these same rules and laws. This man was born to fulfill what was engraved in the scrolls long time. His purpose for coming down to earth was to offer mankind a life in eternity because of mankind’s fallacy (sin).

Well, whoever heard the story of the Son of all Glory coming down to earth through a lowly birth so He could live with humans even though they did not recognize him as their savior. Now this is preached to everyone (if it hasn’t reached your ears, hear it now) and thus it is the good news. Sinners, He came to save, God He came to proclaim, saints He came to make them and so now I speak as unashamed for the hero I know who was named JESUS, the Risen One, He lived a perfect life even though the world was full of strife because Satan tried to tempt Him. God forsook Him But this hero bore it all to save sinners from their sinful nature for this HERO was on a mission to save sinners from the eternal dungeon and so He did it - on the cross He bore it all. Every sin of everyone who accepts His call. He died and concealed my and your sins then rose again, as the Eternal Sovereign King and hence, through him, we will receive eternal life only if we believe in him. The opposite will be eternal destruction.

Pause and ask yourself this; WHO IS MY HERO?
